A fantastic week in camp saw the NSWPRLW team defeat their main foes QLD Police 16 points to 4 at Burleigh Bears Sports Ground. The following day the girls had to back up against a fresh Affiliated States Women’s team who historically played their first Tri-Series. NSW overcame the bumps and bruises of game one, to show a courageous victory defeating the Affiliated States by 8 points to 4.
Congratulations the the NSWPRLW coach Mitch Newton and his training staff and all of the players who did NSW Police proud. A mention must go the the exemplary behaviour on and off the field by the squad and the excellent spirit displayed.
