Congratulations to the NSWPRL men’s team after a tough campaign to defeat a tough QLD team at Burleigh Bears Sports Stadium QLD by 24 points to 20. This game was a brutal old school game of Police footy. NSW Coach Craig Sheridan and QLD Coach Nick Patterson had their respective teams primed for the showdown. A nail bitter to the end, congratulations to both teams for playing a great brand of rugby league.
NSW had to back up to pay the fresh Affiliated States team coached by NSW Police officer Nicholas Hyde.
Despite the boys having some bumps and bruises from the tough game against QLD the previous day, NSW showed a lot of courage and spirit under the captaincy of Dane Clarke and were too strong and ran out convincing winners 36 points to 6.
