Glenn McDougall

Originally played a season of Police Rugby League for Ryde Chatswood in 1983 before transferring out to Orange for 10 years.

Returned to Sydney in 1994 and in 1995 he returned to Police Rugby League as coach of Ryde Chatswood for 2 years before that club folded.

He took 7 players with him to Manly Police Rugby League where he was assistant coach to Mal Cochrane. Then in 1998 he was head coach taking Manly to a minor premiership before they bowed out in the semi finals. He coached again in 1999 before taking on various committee position with Manly between 2000 and 2005.

In 2007 he joined the NSWPRL as a selector for approximately 4 years. He coached Manly to a Premiership in 2012.

Started managing NSWPRL men’s representative team in 2012 and he has continued in this position until now. He also joined the NSWPRL committee for a number of years.

He managed the World Cup winning Australian team in the UK in 2013 and managed the Australian team for many other tours.

He has been awarded Life Membership of Manly Police Rugby League and has been a long term advocate and organiser of Police Boxing who have raised close to 1 million dollars for Police Legacy.

He was awarded his Life Members jacket by long time friend and NSWPRL Life Member Craig Sheridan.
