Mitchell West retires after fantastic career

Mitch commenced playing for the NSWPRL in 2012 after representing in the Newcastle competition.

Since starting in 2012, Mitch became a longtime stalwart with the Eastern Suburbs Wombats, winning many competitions, representing City and Country Police, NSW Police and was a member of the the undefeated Australian Police team in 2013 on a memorable trip to England.

Mitch toured Hawaii in 2016 with an invitational NSWPRL team and won the Aloha Cup against the Hawaiian Chiefs who were captained by former Australian Rugby League legend Scott Prince.

Mitch has been a fearless rugby league player and an exceptional leader on and off the field. We wish him all the best to him and his family and hope he will stay involved in some capacity.
