The NSWPRL team are scheduled to play the Australian Fire Brigade team at Allianz Stadium Sydney on Sunday 23 August 2026. The match will be played in respect for the Emergency Services Round, initiated by The Sydney Roosters after the Bondi Stabbing incident in April 2024. The Sydney Roosters have now hosted two rounds after this horrific incident.
This is the first time after the horrific Bondi Beach massacre which occurred on 14 December 2025 and will be an emotional occasion after several NSW Police officers, were injured and former NSW Police officer Peter Meagher was murdered during the massacre.
