
Paul ‘Sirro’ Sironen, worked at Balmain Police Station when he hit the big time with the Balmain Tigers. He left the NSW Police to concentrate on becoming a professional Rugby league player and carved out a fantastic history palying 246 games for Balmain from 1985 to 1998, 14 State of Origin games for the NSW Blues, and 21 Tests for Australia from 1986 -1994. In 1999 he packed his board shorts and headed to the French Riviera where he played had a season with Villeneuve-sur-lot. Sirro will be in attendance at our carnival in Tamworth, City v Country game and in Queensland with our NSW teams for Australian Tri Series.
