In the first game the Mauling Manly Sea Eagles overpowered a spirited Eastern Suburbs Wombats outfit by winning 24 points to 14. Manly Warringah Police Sea Eagles are through to their 3rd Grand Final in 3 years after defeating the Eastern Suburbs Wombats 24 points to 14 in the NSW Police Rugby League Semi Finals. In a game where the current Premiers Manly were pushed to the limit by the Easts team, Manly scored two late tries to steam roll into their 3rd successive Police Rugby League Grand Final. FULL-TIME – Manly Sea Eagles 24, Tim Pont, Matt Roberts, Mick Fortier, Lee Cameron Tries. Lee Cameron two Goals, Ben Wrigley two Goals; Defeated Eastern Suburbs Wombats 14, Ben Nash, John Hopkins, Adam Munday Tries, Chris Kruit one goal.

In the second game, Macarthur Bulls the minor premiers were also pushed to the limit by a spirited Cronulla Sharks outfit in a see sawing match. The Bullls led by hooker Robbie Mears were too strong in the end, particularly when slick Bull’s five-eight Daniel Drewe stripped the ball from a Cronulla Sharks player and ran 30 metres to score under the post. The Cronulla Sharks five-eight Josh Murphy would not accept defeat at any time throughout the game and courageously led numerous attacking raids with dynamic hooker Matt Johnstone that kept the Sharks right in the fixture to the end. The full time score was Macarthur Bulls 26; Andrew Devlin X 2, Daniel Drewe X 2, Adam Rae tries, Ryan Crossingham 2 goals, Adam Rae 1 goal; Defeated Cronulla Sharks 18. Beaudie Cullen, Matt Johnstone, Josh Murphy tries. Josh Murphy 3 goals.

The NSWPRL GRAND FINAL will be played at the New Era Stadium Cabramatta next Wednesday evening the 28 August 2013 at 7pm.
In the plate semi-final, Penrith Panthers defeated the Sydney Patriots 22 points to 4 and will contest the Plate final against Bankstown Giants as a curtain raiser to the Macarthur Bulls V Manly Sea Eagles at 5pm.
