A great effort by the Australian Police Rugby league team, who took part in the Police/University/Defence/Corrections series at Penrith NSW. APRL defeated the Australian defence team by 20 points to 10, a big win against the Australian correctional team, and a nail biter against the strong Australian University team. Finishing the game against the University team as a draw, the APRL lost in extra time. Great effort to all involved. APRL coach Craig Sheridan (APM) said he was proud of the squad who gelled magnificently after 10 of the original selected squad withdrew leading up to the series.
