Its sad to say farewell to Wayne ‘Bugsy’ Merry. Bugsy played for the Wests Magpies in the 1970’s, and later was a long term stalwart in NSW Police rugby league. Bugs toured with the NSWPRL team in 1980 and can be seen in the photograph front row far left. He continued to support the NSWPRL and was a regular at the carnivals. R.I.P. Bugsy.
